Understanding VAT regulations is essential for foreign businesses operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in the European Union. The VAT rules in cross-border trade are complex and impact several aspects of businesses, including their operations, finance, legal and compliance departments.

In light of this, the European Chamber of Commerce in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (ECCKSA) invites you to an exclusive online webinar titled "VAT in EU-Saudi Arabia Cross-Border Trade: A Practical Perspective", scheduled for Wednesday, 11 December 2024, from 14:00 to 15:30 (Riyadh time, GMT+3).

This session will provide valuable insights into the VAT rules, the compliance and the potential strategies on cross-border transactions between Saudi Arabia and the European Union Member States, focusing on key topics such as VAT implications on cross-border supplies of goods and services, registration requirements for non-resident companies, refund mechanisms available to non-resident companies, and a practical perspective on effective risk mitigation. Participants will also gain a clear understanding of the latest regulatory developments and their strategic implications for business operations.

We are pleased to host distinguished speakers from Saudi Arabia's Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA), the European Commission, represented by the Directorate-General for Taxation and Customs Union (DG Taxud), and the international law firm NAX Law, who will address these critical topics.

The webinar is open to all interested participants; prior registration is required.
